The pilot of a damaged spacecraft, which is spiraling out of control, has ejected himself shortly before the hull has breached. He looks at the wrist display of his spacesuit and realizes he has less than minutes of oxygen left. Floating helplessly, his visor is alight with shining constellations and glowing nebulae. As he reflects upon the choices that he's made, which have sealed his fate so tightly in this vacuum tomb, he sees a glimpse of her beautiful face, but then everything goes dark — somehow darker than even outer space.
